On Thursday, the world’s premier kickboxing organization announced Glory 18, set for Friday, November 7th, at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This will be Glory’s first event since Glory 17 on June 21. As has been the case all year, this event will air live on Spike TV. A lightweight matchup between Glory champion Davit Kiria and number 2 ranked Robin van Roosmalen will serve as the night’s headlining act. This will mark Kiria’s first title defense after earning the belt with a fifth round TKO win over Andy Ristie at Glory 14 in March. van Roosemalen was last seen walking away with a split decision win over Marat Grigorian at Glory 15 in April. Also announced for the card is Glory’s first ever one-night, four-man Light Heavyweight Contender Tournament, with Semi-Final rounds pitting the USA’s Brian Collette vs. the Congo’s Zack Mwekassa, and Brazil’s Saulo Cavalari vs. Russia’s Artem Vakhitov. A middleweight bout between New York’s Wayne Barrett and Holland’s Jason Wilnis will serve as the night’s co-main event.
