Legacy Fighting Championship held heavyweight and featherweight title fights when it headed to the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM to bring fight fans Legacy FC 36.

In the night’s main event Cody East squared off against Vernon Lewis (3-2) for the heavyweight belt while UFC veteran Damacio Page (18-9) meets Allan Nascimento (13-2) for the promotion’s flyweight title in the co-main event.

East (8-1), currently riding a our fight win streak, was last seen walking away with a first round TKO victory over Esteves Jones in December 2013. He entered this bout with seven career stoppage victories, with five coming within the first round. Lewis (4-2), also was riding a four fight win streak, and was coming off a first round TKO victory over Eric Lunsford in July. All four of victories have come by way of stoppage.

In the main event it was Cody East who was able to score the TKO victory and walk away with Legacy’s heavyweight title.  East immediately took to Lewis landing big punches to start the fight.  East staggered Lewis with punches before punishing Lewis against the cage with body and head shots forcing the ref to stop the fight.

In the co-main event, it was a quick night for Hall as it took Page just 1:48 to showcase his striking and give fans one of the cleanest knock outs in MMA history.
