WWE Hell In A Cell 2014 Results Trey Downey October 26, 2014 Events, News, Spotlight, WWE On Sunday, October 26th WWE held WWE Hell In A Cell 2014 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This was WWE’s annual event where they bring out their most demonic structure: Hell In A Cell. This year featured a double main event with both matches held inside the confines of the cell. In one match the two biggest stars of this generation, John Cena and Randy Orton, faced off for the second time in the cell. There was more on the line than just pride in this match. The winner was declared the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will face Brock Lesnar at a later date. In the co-main event, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose finally settled their feud inside the cage. Rollins and Ambrose have been at odds since Rollins turned his back on his former teammates in The Shield. This was the most anticipated HIAC match in years and was expected to deliver a match of the year candidate. Four titles were also on the line on this night. Sheamus defended his United States Title against the Miz, Goldust and Stardust defended the tag team gold against The Usos, A.J. Lee and Paige faced off once again for the Diva’s title, and Dolph Ziggler defended the Intercontinental title against Cesaro in a two out of three falls match.
