Cerrone (25-6), a former WEC title contender, will enter this bout as one of the hottest fighters on entire organization. In his most recent outing, ‘Cowboy’ picked up a fast paced decision victory over former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in the co-main event of UFC 178 in September. This victory not only pushed his win streak to five straight, but also marked his fourth victory of 2013, which trails only Neil Magney’s five wins for most this year. As one of the most active fighters on the UFC roster, the Jackson-Winkeljohn product has earned an astounding 10 career post fight bonuses, including the most Performance of the Night bonuses in UFC history with two. Only six of his 25 career wins have ever reached a judge’s decision. Jury (15-0), a veteran of season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter, will enter this fight having won all six of his bouts under the UFC banner. In his most recent performance, fans saw the man known as ‘Fury’ become the first person to ever earn a TKO victory over former Pride FC legend Takanori Gomi in their co-main event matchup at UFC Fight Night 52. Prior to this win, the Alliance MMA product outpointed TUF 1 champion Diego Sanchez en route to a unanimous decision victory at UFC 171 in March.
