On Saturday afternoon the UFC announced The Ultimate Fighter: China winner Zhang Lipeng and Chris Wade have verbally agreed to fight at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston.

Lipeng (8-7-1) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Brendan O’Reilly at UFC Fight Night 48 in August. Prior to this win fans saw him win the TUF: China welterweight tournament with a lackluster split decision win over Wang Sai at the TUF China: Finale in March.

Chris Wade (8-1) was last seen  walking away with a first submission win in his promotional debut against Cain Carrizosa just a little over a minute into their fight at UFC 177 in August. This pushed his win streak to three.

UFC Fight Night 59 is currently scheduled to take place on January 18 the TD Garden in Boston. A featherweight matchup between Irish superstar Conor McGregor and German striker Dennis Siver will serve as the main event.
