On Saturday, November 15th Bellator MMA will host Bellator 131: Tito vs. Bonnar from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

In the main event of the evening, legendary light heavyweights will clash in when Tito Ortiz faces Stephan Bonnar. Both are UFC Hall of Famers, but they will face each other for the first time inside the Bellator Cage. Ortiz signed with Bellator last year and was initially scheduled to face Quentin Jackson, but was forced to withdraw due to an injury. Ortiz ended up making his Bellator debut earlier this year when he submitted Alexander Shlemenko in the first round. Bonnar will be coming out of retirement for this bout and hasn’t fought since he lost to Anderson Silva via TKO and then was suspended for a failed drug test. Before that bout with Silva, Bonnar had been on a three-fight winning streak.

In the night’s co-main event, a new undisputed lightweight champion will be crowned when Will Brooks and Michael Chandler face off for the second time. Earlier this year Brooks shocked the world when he stepped in on short notice and defeated Chandler to become the interim lightweight champion after Eddie Alvarez was injured. Alvarez has since migrated to the UFC and this bout will now be for the undisputed lightweight title. Chandler was unbeaten in his first twelve professional bouts but has since lost back to back decisions to Alvarez and Brooks.

The main card will also feature more well known names for Bellator fans as Muhammed Laval faces Joe Vedepo, Melvin Manhoef faces Joe Schilling, and Mike Richman faces Nam Phan. The five-fight main card airs live and free on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET with two hours of preliminary action preceding it at 7 p.m. ET.
