Anthony "Rumble" Johnson (Dave Mandel/Sherdog)UFC Twitter Q & A Does Not Go Well for Anthony Johnson Matt Juul November 21, 2014 News, Spotlight Not sure who’s idea it was to let Anthony Johnson do a Q & A on Twitter, but that UFC employee is probably in some pretty hot water right now. If you missed yesterday’s debacle, the UFC light-heavyweight – who was recently reinstated by the promotion after previously being banned for domestic violence allegations – gave some pretty awful answers to users on the social media site who dared to ask questions about the horrendous accusations. Here are some of “Rumble’s” pretty dumb answers from Wednesday: @EarlMontclair @Chris81203@syd1138@ufcfunny enough dude. Neeeeexxxxt lol This shit is a fucking joke! Come with something new. Anthony Johnson (@Anthony_Rumble)November 20, 2014 @Anthony_Rumble@mookiealexander@EarlMontclair@Chris81203>@syd1138@ufcYou were sentenced for one of the accusations, correct? Brent Brookhouse (@brentbrookhouse)November 20, 2014 I’m laughing at some of these questions. The ppl making me lol thank you. I needed that laugh today. Much love regardless you motivate me Anthony Johnson (@Anthony_Rumble) November 20, 2014 As far as the negative questions I’ll always lol at them. If you don’t have anything positive to talk about then why talk? Keep it moving! Anthony Johnson (@Anthony_Rumble) November 20, 2014 Hey Johnson, maybe it’s not a good idea to laugh about allegations of domestic violence, eh? It’s a shame that we live in a society where justice rarely occurs in cases of domestic violence, and that alleged perpetrators can get away with their awful actions – even when there is substantial evidence of the crimes. There might not have been a full-on video of Johnson hurting his partner(s) like Ray Rice, but when three different women over the course of five years accuse you of physically harming them, that should send red flags to the UFC and law enforcement to investigate the accusations a little more diligently. But, as we’ve seen time and time again, domestic violence cases don’t get the attention they deserve from the police, and the aggressors usually get away without a slap on the wrist. But hey, “lol” right, “Rumble?”
