Well it didn’t take long for Max Holloway to get a new fight.

Seconds after earning a unanimous decision over Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 60, UFC commentator Jon Anik revealed to Holloway he had been targeted to face Cub Swanson at UFC on FOX 15 in April. A beaming Holloway immediately accepted the fight much to the delight of the sold out crowd in Broomfield, Colorado.

Prior to defeating Miller, Holloway (12-3) earned four straight stoppage victories with his most recent being first round knockout victory over TUF 14 veteran Akira Corassani at UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden.

Swanson (21-6) most recently saw his six fight win streak snapped at the hands of former champion Frankie Edgar in the main event of UFC Fight Night 57. Prior to this setback, Swanson earned three of six wins by way of knockout.

UFC on FOX 15 is currently scheduled to take place on April 18 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. A middleweight bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion turned middleweight contender Lyoto Machida and former Strike force middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will serve as the main event.
