The UFC Night Night continues to grow.

On Monday afternoon, the UFC announced the addition of two keys bouts to their first trip to the Philippines.

Mousasi (36-5-2), a former Strikeforce, Cage Warriors and Dream champion, got back into the win column with a first round TKO over futuer Hall of Famer Dan Henderson at UFC on FOX 14. Prior to this win, the Dutchman suffered a third-round submission loss to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in the main event of UFC on FOX 50 in September.  He will enter this bout with an astounding 31 career stoppage victories, including 19 knockouts, and UFC record of 3-2.

Philippou (13-4), is coming off violent first round knockout victory over Lorenz Larkin at UFC Fight Night 40 in May.This victory snapped Philippou’s two fight losing streak, which inludes a first TKO loss to former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold. Prior to this losing skid, the Bellmore Kickboxing MMA put together a career best five fight streak. He will enter this bout with a UFC record of 6-3 Philippou was scheduled to rematch Uriah Hall, whom he defeated prior to both of them signing with the UFC, at UFC Fight Night 59 before he pulled out with an injury.

Also announced is a welteweight contest between the surging Neil Magney and the heavy handed Hyun Gyu Lim.

Magney (13-3), veteran of season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter, will enter this bout riding an incredible six fight win streak. In his most recent performance, fans saw him walk away with a third round TKO victory over Kiichi Kunimoto last month at UFC Fight Night 60. This marked his second straight third stopapge with his previous one being a TKO William Patolino at UFC 179 in September. This marked Magney’s fifth straight win in 2014, tying him with Roger Huerta for the most UFC wins in a calendar year. To date, his last setback came in the form of third round submission win against TUF 11 veteran Seth Baczynski at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 in November 2013.

Lim (13-4-1) debuted with the company in March in Japan with a very impressive knockout  victory over Marcelo Guimaraes. But it was his following performance over Pascal Krauss at UFC 164 that really started to turn heads. With a first round knockout over the very durable Kraus, earning Fight of the Night in the process, Lim earned the praise of UFC Dana White and fight fans everywhere. However he was later fall victim to former Strike force champion Tarec Saffiedine in Jnauary 2014. He would eventually get back into the win column with a first round over Takenori Sato.

UFC Fight Night 66 is currently scheduled to take place on May 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines. A featherweight superfight between former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and former WEC champion Urijah Faber will serve as the main event.
