(Joe Camporeale/USA TODAY)In Case You Missed It: A Look Back at The Week That Was 3/8 Through 3/14 Trey Downey March 16, 2015 Events, News, Recaps, Spotlight I think the best way to describe this past weekend in MMA is sneaky good. UFC 185 wasn’t the most hyped card of all time, but it delivered on every single level. The preliminary card was awesome with every single fight ending in a finish. The main card was stacked from top to bottom and had something for literally every fight fan. We had flyweights, heavyweights, a women’s fight, and two bonafide stars in Anthony Pettis and Johnny Hendricks. This card might not have been for the main stream, but the UFC really delivered to their hardcore fans on Saturday. In the end this also ended up being the first time two titles changed hands on one card since UFC 92. That all combined with WSOF signing a superhero made this past week one to remember. All of the news and all of the fights from a big week for the UFC and WSOF. Rafael dos Anjos and Joanna Jedrzejccyk certainly welcomed everyone to the show this weekend and quite frankly stole it. Dos Anjos proved how much fighters can improve over the course of their career if they keep at it and find the right people. Dos Anjos basically proved to be the lightweight version of his training partner, Fabricio Werdum. We don’t know just yet where Dos Anjos goes next, but we do know the UFC will be going to his home country of Brazil next weekend and next Monday we will recap it all, in case you missed it.
