On Saturday night, hours before Matt Hamill (11-5) and Thiago Silva (16-3) were scheduled to square off in the opening round of the WSOF light heavyweight tournament, word came down that Hamill had withdrawn due to illness. As a results Teddy Holder, (8-1) who was scheduled to face Jake Heun (7-3) earlier in the night, will now meet Silva in the night’s co-main event. Heun also received a new opponent in the former of UFC veteran Clifford Starks, who was set to meet Eddie Arizmendi, on the prelims portion of the card. There is no word on whether or not Arizmendi will receive a new opponent but with such little time, it is safe to say he will remain opponent-less for the remainder of the night.
