Mixed Martial Arts promotions have come a long way. There was a time when it was difficult to watch any events. Scouring the shelves of movie rental stores for early UFC’s, and sharing vhs tapes of Pride FC. Those day’s are gone. It hasn’t only benefited the larger organizations though. Now fans have access to the developmental organizations that put together events and match ups that will shape the future of this sport.

One such developmental organization is Legacy FC. The Texas based promotion is putting on their forty first event on Friday, April 3, 2015. With no other MMA events on Friday theres no doubt you should be tuned into AXS TV on Friday night to watch these fights. As with other sports the developmental organizations have historically created exciting fights. These young fighters are looking too fulfill their dreams by rising through the rankings with in the Legacy organization with hopes of being noticed by the larger organizations. It is because of this that they are constantly going for the finish.

The organizations also provide a way for fighters that have reached the pinnacle, but fallen off another chance to get back into the big show. Daniel Pineda was developed by Legacy FC, made it to the UFC, and now he back in Legacy. Since returning to the organization he has picked up two straight first round submission victories. He wasn’t known as a finisher in the UFC, but he is certainly making a statement now. He has stepped up to take Anthony Njokuani’s place in the main event, and if he can take Jonny Carson out in the same way, he will be on a three fight winning streak. It’s also a huge opportunity for Carson to pick up  a victory over a former UFC fighter.

Weather it’s the main event or the under card, you don’t want to miss these fights. They are all fighting for their recognition in the sport, and every fighter will be looking for a finish. It’s certain to be an equation for exciting fights.
