The pair were expected to headline UFC Fight Night 69, which will take place June 20 in Berlin. As a results a women’s strawweight title fight between reining champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and TUF 20 alum Jessica Penne will serve as the new main event. Jedrzejczyk (9-0) was last seen running though then champion Carla Esparza with a second round TKO at UFC 185 in March, winning the belt in the process. She earned her shot at the belt with back-to-back decisions over Juliana Lima and Cláudia Gadelha. She will enter this bout four career stoppage wins, including three by way of knockout. Penne (12-2), a former Invicta FC atomweight champion, will be looking to make it two in a row inside the octagon after earning a decision win in her promotional debut over Ronda Markos at the TUF 20 Finale in December. During her time in the The Ultimate Fighter house, she scored wins over Lisa Ellis and Aisling Daly en route to earning a spot in the semi-finals of the TUF 20 Tournament. She would go on to lose to eventual tournament winner Carla Esparza. Penne was expected to meet Lima at UFC Fight Night 67 next month. However there is no word on what the UFC plans to do with Lima now that Penne is off the cara
