After the preliminary action, the nights main card will air on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET. In the nights main event, Brandon Halsey (8-0) takes on Kendall Grove (20-14) in what was originally a bout for the middleweight championship, but Halsey failed to make weight and opted against losing the excess 3.1 lbs needed to make it an official title bout.

Along with losing 20 percent of his purse for missing weight, Bellator has also issued its own thorough punishment, stripping Halsey of his title. Shall Halsey win, the middleweight title will be vacant, however, Grove will become the middleweight champ with a win over Halsey.
