On Saturday, May 16, the UFC hosted Fight Night: Edgar vs. Faber in Manila, Philippines.

In the evenings main event, lightweight title holder and feather title contender Frankie Edgar took on featherweight and bantamweight title contender Urijah Faber. Both men came into the contest riding a wave of momentum and with a serious title implications on the line, they both looked to make a statement.

In the evenings co-main event, we saw Gegard Mousasi take on Costas Philippou in the ever-more increasingly stacked middleweight division. Also featured on the main card, middleweight bout between Mark Munoz and Luke Barnatt in what is said to be Munoz’s last fight before he retires from the sport of MMA.
