On Tuesday morning, it announced Uriah Hall will be replacing the injured Derek Brunson against Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Fight Night 69 in Berlin.

UFC officials revealed Brunson was forced to withdraw from the bout after suffering an injury to his rib during training.

Hall (10-5), a finalist on season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter, will be looking to get back into the win column after dropping a split decision to Rafael Natal last month at UFC 187. This snapped “Primetime’s” three fight win streak, which included first round TKO victories over Ron Stallings and Chris Leben as well as a unanimous decision over Thiago Santos. He will enter this bout with eight career stoppage wins, including 6 by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 3-3.

Jotko (15-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tor Troeng at UFC Fight Night 53 last October. Prior to that, Jotko was a part of the UFC’s first ever venture to the German capital at UFC Fight Night 41, where fans saw him suffer a second round submssion loss to Magnus Cedenblad. He will enter this bout with 6 career stoppage wins.

UFC Fight Night 69 is set to take place on June 20 at the O2 World in Berlin, Germanuy. The card will be headlined by a title fight between current women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and former Invicta FC champion Jessica Penne. This will be the first UFC title fight ever to take place in Europe, outside of the UK, and the first ever women’s title fight in Europe.
