Watch fighters hit the scale for Bellator 138 on Thursday.

On Friday, June 19th, Bellator returns to St. Louis with an ever entertaining fight card, headlined by internet sensation Kimbo Slice and MMA pioneer Ken Shamrock. The two were originally supposed to fight in EliteXC in 2008 but Shamrock had to withdraw from the fight following and incident backstage during warm-ups that left a gash on his head, leading to the commission not allowing him to participate in the fight. He was replaced by Seth Petruzelli who went on to TKO the internet sensation.

Slice (4-2) makes his return after five years away from MMA after exploding from Youtube in backyard boxing matches, he caught notice from the UFC and joined the ultimate fighter. After defeating Houston Alexander in his debut he was defeated by Matt Mitrione which lead to his separation from the organization.

Shamrock (28-15-2) is also five years removed from the sport, last appearing in a TKO loss to Mike Bourke. After beginning his career in Pancrase, Shamrock went on to become a household name for all MMA fans, fighting in organization such as Pride, UFC and many others. He will look to settle the score with Kimbo after many accusations of applying injury to himself before their meeting in 2008 that scratched him from the fight.

Also featured on the card, a featherweight champion bout between Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Daniel Welchel, a heavyweight bout between Dan Charles and Bobby Lashley, featherweights Daniel Straus vs. Henry Corrales, and lightweights Michael Chandler vs. Derek compos.
