With 2.1 million viewers, last Friday’s heavyweight contest between Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock is now the highest rated and most watched Bellator MMA to fight ever take place on Spike TV.

The overall Bellator 138 card also drew record numbers for Bellator on Spike, delivering 1.6 million viewers and was #1 with Men 18-49 in all of television in its timeslot. It also ranked #1 with Adults 18-49 on cable in the timeslot.

Bellator 138 also beat FOX’s coverage of U.S. Open golf by +128% with Men 18-34, +99% with Men 18-49, and +89% with Men Adults 18-49.

The main event also became the most watched MMA fight on cable television since since January and second most of the year behind only UFC Fight: Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver fight, which did 2.75 million viewers.
