An injury to UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler has forced the UFC to do some reshuffling.

On Friday night, it was revealed Lawler had suffered an thumb injury in training camp, forcing him out of his upcoming main event title fight against Carlos Conidt at UFC 193. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news, which UFC would later confirm.

As a result, the women’s bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm has been named the headliner for the November fight card. The two women were previously scheduled to headline UFC 195 in Las Vegas . UFC President Dana White made the announcement during an appearance on SportsCenter.

Rousey (12-0), a former Olympic medalist in Judo, is coming off a violent 34-second knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC 190 earlier in This month. This marked her third straight victory to end in under a minute after a blistering 14-second submission win over Cat Zingano from UFC 184 and an impressive 16 second knockout over Alexis Davis at UFC 175. Prior to these wins, she also earned 66-second TKO over Sara McMann.

Rousey will enter this bout with stoppage victories in all 13 of her professional bouts, including nine by way of first round submission. To date only one of her fights has gone past the first round.

“Ronda Rousey was huge for us in Brazil,” White told ESPN. “She was well received there and it was just a phenomenal event. It did very well on Pay-Per-View here in the United States, and she’s obviously a huge superstar for us. Australia’s an important market for us, so we’re gonna bring her out there in our first real big stadium show, and we know she’ll break the record out there.”

Holm (9-0), a former boxing world champion who amassed a record of 33-2-3 while holding both the IBA and WBF world titles, has yet to taste defeat since making the switch to mixed martial arts in 2011. Since then she has laid waste to almost every single opponent thrown her way, securing violent knockouts in several different promotions. In her most recent contest, the Jackson-Winkeljohn product earned a decision over Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 71.

UFC 193 is currently set to take place on Nov. 14 at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia
