Texas based Legacy Fighting Championship is one of the top regional MMA promotions in the U.S. and they been the launching pad for many up and coming fighters in the sport today. Legacy FC has established a reputation for finding and developing great talent and putting together excellent fight card; a major reason why they have a deal with AXS TV.

On Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, Legacy FC heads to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Okla., for Legacy FC 45: Todhunter vs. Smith As always the team at Legacy FC has put together a tremendous fight card with tons of potential.

Top Young Talent

As one of the premier regional promotions in MMA today, Legacy FC’s roster contains a strong mix of high level veterans and top tier up and comers. Legacy FC has become a proving ground for fighters looking to make it to the UFC and every event they host will feature at least one fighter who is destined for bigger and better things.

Can Sean Soriano Get Back on Track?

After going 8-0 on the regional circuit, Soriano was called up to the UFC as a short notice injury replacement against Tatsuya Kawajiri at UFC Fight Night 35. As a result, Soriano was choked out but his willingness to step in on short notice earned him a couple more opportunities in the Octagon. But after going 0-3, Soriano was released from the promotion earlier this year.

At just 25, though, this Blackzilians prospect still has plenty of time to fine tune his game and climb back up the ladder. Coming off of three consecutive losses, Soriano needs to get back on track and he has a great opportunity to do that on Friday night.

Will Andrew Todhunter Remain Undefeated?

After passing out trying to make weight for his UFC debt – a fight he took on just two weeks’ notice – Todhunter was released from the promotion and finds himself back on the regional circuit. A former U.S. Army sniper and undefeated grappler, all of Todhunter’s victories have come by way of submission.

Having already been on the UFC’s radar, an impressive win for Todhunter could be just what he needs to get the call up; hopefully this time we will be able to have a proper training camp to prepare and cut weight.
