On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, the UFC heads back to Ireland for UFC Fight NIght: Poirier vs. Duffy. Dublin has proven to be a great fight town, but considering a native Irishman will be taking part in the main event of the evening, 3Arena is going to be rocking.

Coming off the heels of a somewhat lackluster UFC 192 – great main event but an underwhelming main card – fight fans are hungry for an exciting night of fights. Even though the main card took a hit when it lost it’s heavyweight co-main event bout, UFC Fight Night 76 still has some real potential.

Top European Talent

One of the great things about the UFC’s international shows is their inclusion of talent from the region. Europe has a great MMA scene and the UFC has been stockpiling talent for their international shows. UFC Fight NIght 76 will be a great opportunity for fight fans to see just how deep the European talent waters are.

Prospect Watch: Tom Breese

One of the most intriguing prospects on the entire card is England’s own, Breese. A 24-year-old undefeated welterweight, Breese has won all eight of his pro bouts by way of stoppage. Breese has a tough matchup taking on grinder Cathal Pendred.

Someone’s “0” Has Got to Go

Kicking off action on the UFC Fight Pass main card undefeated welterweights Nicolas Dalby and Darren Till will battle it out. Both fighters are coming off of big wins in their UFC debuts and both fights are looking to send a message to the UFC welterweight division. Dalby has shown a keen ability to win in a number of ways, but Till is an elite finisher. This one is going to be fun.

Dustin Poirier vs. Joseph Duffy

In the main event of the evening, dangerous lightweights Poirier and Duffy will take the center of the Octagon. Simply put, this one has “Fight of the Year” potential. It’s going to be hard to top what Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald did a couple of months ago, but if any matchup has to the potential to one up, this is the matchup. Poirier and Duffy are dynamic, exciting, explosive and hungry to notch a statement victory.
