A pair of bouts have been added to the upcoming BAMMA 23 card in November.

A flyweight contest between Andy Young vs. Mahmood Besharate as well as a lightweight bout between Ben Bennett vs. Jai Herbert has officially been added to the upcoming BAMMA 23 card in November.

Young (8-7) was most recently seen finishing then undefeated Luiz Gonzalez with strikes early in the second round of their BCMMA contest in October. in his last fight. This performance extended his win streak to two after earning a decision over Spencer Hewitt in September.

His opponent, Besharate (5-1), will be stepping into the cage for the first bout in two years following his break from the sport after a decision loss to BAMMA flyweight champion Rany Saadeh at BAMMA 15.

Bennett (0-0) will be making his pro debut. “Bad Man” made his first appearance for BAMMA at BAMMA 21, as part of the Amateur undercard where fans saw him deft Daniel Cassell via triangle choke halfway through the first round. The Bradford based, Team Fulinkazan fighter amassed a record as 5-0 in his amateur career and holds gold medals in both Gi and Nogi Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.

Herbert (2-0) from Wolverhampton, will have the hometown advantage againt Bennet. The Wolfpack MMA fighter previously competed at BAMMA Fight Night: Chadwick vs. Pascu, where he walkedaway with a third round rear naked choke victory on the amateur prelims. With a background in Thai boxing Herbert will be looking to extend his undefeated streak and make waves in the Lightweight division.

BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions is currently set take place on Saturday Nov. 15 at Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham. A heavyweight title fight between reigning champion a Mark Godbeer and recently signed Ruben Wolf will serve as the main event.
