A lightweight matchup between The Ultimate Fighter alum Daron Cruickshank and the always exciting Paul Felder has officially been added to UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston. Jeremy Klump was the first to report the matchup.

Felder (10-2) will be looking to get back from into the win column after dropping back-to-back decision to Edson Barboza and Ross Pearson. While he may have come out the loser, “The Irish Dragon” earned the respect of fans for his exciting style of fighting.

Prior to these setbacks, the Philadelphia native scored a violent spinning fast fist knockout over Danny Castillo at UFC 182, earning a Performance of the Night bonus. He will enter this bout with seven career stoppage wins, all of which came by way of knockout.

Cruickshank (16-5), a TUF 15 alumni, will also be looking to snap his two fight losing skid after suffering back-to-back submission losses to Beniel Darish and James Krause.

To date the “The Detroit Superstar’s” last victory came in the form of a decision win over Anthony Njokuani at UFC Fight Night 54. He will enter this bout with 10 career stoppage wins, nine of which have come by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 6-3.

UFC Fight Night 81 is currently set to take place Jan. 17 in Boston. A bantamweight title fight between reigning champion T.J. Dillashaw and former champion Dominick Cruz will serve as the main event.
