Kimbo Slice is back people.

On Thursday night, reports came out revealing the popular fighter has been tabbed as the headlining act of an upcoming Bellator card in Houston next February. Jeremy Botter of the Houston Chronicle was the first to report the news.

Slice (5-2), real name Kevin Ferguson most recently walked away with a first round TKO in his promotional debut over longtime rival and UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock at Bellator 138 in June.

This marked the YouTube star’s first professional bout since being released from the UFC following his second round TKO to Matt Mitrione in May 2010.  The former EliteXC and The Ultimate Fighter alum holds notable victories over Houston Alexander, James Thompson and Tank Abbott.

There is currently no word on who Slice will be facing in February. However, according to Bellator President Scott Coker the promotion could be looking to book him against the winner of Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson, which takes place at Bellator 145 in November.
