It is the alleged aftermath of an altercation between reigning Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks and the “Pitbull” brothers, Patricio Freire, the Bellator featherweight champion, and Patricky Freire. The entire incident took place in a hotel in St. Louis, the host city of Bellator 145 this weekend. Brooks took to Twitter shortly after to give his perspective on his scrap with the two Brazilian brothers. It should be noted Brooks has deleted the original tweet with the image of the shirt. Will Brooks is a liar. He hit Patricky first and came at me, I went after him too and my first punch landed. Brooks and Patricio Freire are both scheduled to defend their Bellator titles against Marcin Heldand and Daniel Straus, respectively, this Friday, Nov. 6 at Bellator 145.
