(Esther Lin/MMA Fighting)Kimbo Slice Set to Return Against ‘Dada 5000′ at Bellator 149 in Houston José Youngs November 6, 2015 Bellator, Bellator Events, News, Spotlight, UFC YouTube sensation turned legitimate mixed martial artist Kimbo Slice is set to return to the Bellator cage on Feb. 19 where he’ll square off against fellow backyard brawler Dhafir “Dada 5000″ Harris in the co-main event of Bellator 149. Bellator President Scott Coker announced the news during the broadcast Bellator 145 on SpikeTV. Slice (5-2), real name Kevin Ferguson, most recently walked away with a first round TKO in his promotional debut over longtime rival and UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock at Bellator 138 in June. This marked the Slice’s first professional bout since being released from the UFC following his second round TKO to Matt Mitrione in May 2010. The former EliteXC and The Ultimate Fighter alum holds notable victories over Houston Alexander, James Thompson and Tank Abbott. Harris (2-0), a childhood friend of Slice, has not competed inside the cage since his first round 50-second TKO victory over Tim Papp in 2011. The colorful character initially rose to prominence after breaking away from Slice’s entourage during their backyard brawler days in Miami Bellator 149 is scheduled to take place on Feb. 19 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
