MMAjunkie was the first to report the news Waterson (12-4), a former Invcita FC atomweight champion, was last seen walking away with a third round submission win in her UFC debut against TUF 20 alum Angela Magaña at the TUF 21 Finale in July. Prior to this victory, ‘The Karate Hottie’ was seen dropping her Invicta FC belt by way third round submission loss to Herica Tiburcio in the main event of Invicta FC 10 in December. fThis loss not only snapped “The Karate Hottie’s” six fight win but also marked her first defeat under the Invicta FC banner. Torres (6-0), an American Top Team product, will be looking to pick up her third straight win under the UFC banner will also keeping perfect record in tact. In her most recent effort, ‘The Tiny Tornado’ earned a decision over fellow TUF 20 alum Angela Hill at UFC 188 in June. To date all six of her professional bouts have reached the judges scorecard. The UFC is currently looking for a replacement opponent for Torres. UFC 194 is currently set to take place on Dec. 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. A featherweight title fight between reigning champion Jose Aldo and interim champion Conor McGregor will serve as the night’s headlining act while a middleweight title fight between reigning UFC champion Chris Weidman and former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold will serve as the co-main event.
