According to reports, a lightweight contest between Norman Parke vs. Rustam Khabilov is being targeted for UFC Fight Night 83 in February.

Khabilov confirmed the new on his Facebook Monday afternoon.

Khabilov (17-3), winner of the M-1 Challenge 2009 Championship, is currently riding a career worst two fight losing streak. In his most recent effort, the man known as “Tiger,” suffered a narrow split decision setback against Adriano Martins last February.

Prior to this, the fans saw Dagestani finished for the first time in his career at the hands a fourth round rear naked choke to Benson Henderson in their main event matchup in June 2014. Khabilov will enter this bout nine career stoppage wins and a UFC record of 3-2.

His opponent, Parke (20-2-1), the TUF: Smashes lightweight champion, will be looking to pick up his second straight win inside the Octagon. In his most recent contest, the Belfast native walked away with a decision over Reza Madadi at UFC Fight Night 76 in October.

This victor snapped “Stormin Norman’s” two fight losing streak, where fans saw him on the losing end of two split decisions. He will enter this bout with a 16 career stoppage wins, including 12 by way of submission, and a UFC record of 4-2-1.

UFC Fight Night 83 is currently scheduled to take place at The O2 arena London, England. A main event has yet to be announced.
