On Wednesday night, it was revealed the UFC had booked a women’s bantamweight contest between former title contender Bethe Correia and Jessica Eye has been booked for UFC Fight Night 82 in Pittsburgh.

Brazilian media outlet Combate was the first to report the news.

Correia (9-1) was last seen suffering a violent knockout loss to former champion Ronda Rousey just a little more than 30-seconds into their UFC 190 title fight in August. This came after months of animosity between both women as prior to this setback Correia knocked out two of Rousey’s teammate in Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler. She will enter this bout with two career stoppage wins, both of which coming by way of knockout.

Eye (11-4), will be also looking to get back into the win column after dropping back-to-back decision to two-time title contender Miesha Tate and Julian Peña. Prior to this setback, the woman known as “Evil” scored TKO over Leslie Smith at UFC 180 in November, where fans saw the woman known as ‘Evil’ punch her opponent’s ear off.

UFC Fight Night 82 is currently scheduled to take place February 27 at the Consol Energy Center Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A main event has yet to be announced.
