WSOFWSOF Unveils New Logo, Opens Office in New York José Youngs December 17, 2015 News, Spotlight, WSOF World Series of Fighting has unveiled an all-new logo that will replace its former, original emblem, and represent the brand across all of its media platforms, beginning in January. The company also announced that it will open a Manhattan-based corporate office for its fast-growing operation, next month. Capped with a three pronged crown, the new logo was created to enhance promotion ability to visually connect with its rapidly expanding fan base, and to communicate its mission to maintain and promote authentic world champions and a qualified system of rankings for the athletes competing in eight different weight divisions. The decision to expand its presence to New York City comes shortly prior to the latest New York State government vote on the MMA bill that, if passed, would legalize the sanctioning of MMA fights in the state. “We are excited to head into the New Year, and enter a new chapter in World Series of Fighting history with a distinguished, new look that conveys the essence of why this company was founded and what it stands for,” said WSOF CEO Carlos Silva. “And we are thrilled to bring our operation to one of the greatest cities and sports entertainment epicenters in the world,” “Regardless of whether or not the MMA bill is passed in New York State this time around,” continued Silva, “we felt that having an office location in Manhattan was essential because we have a considerable number of stakeholders there, and are doing business there on a regular basis.” The new office will be located on the east side of midtown Manhattan and will serve as the workplace for sales, marketing and public relations staff.
