Shamrock Fighting Chamiponsihp has released its complete schedule of events for the 2016 calendar year.

Beginning on January 16 at The Ameristar Casino, Shamrock FC Assault will be the first of a total of 22 events the promotion will hold next year. All of the cards will air via stream on Go Live Sports Cast, an online and IPTV destination for internet broadcast sports, including mixed martial arts.

“2016 promises to be the biggest year in the 17 year history of Shamrock Promotions,” said CEO Jesse Finney. “As we continue to grow, our promise will stay the same and that is to give our fans a great fight night experience from start to finish. Shamrock FC is currently negotiating with a few casinos to add an additional 4-8 shows to the already great line-up of venues who host our events.

“When the time is right, we are also going to seek a national television deal. We are elated to be partnering with Go Live Sports Cast as their reputation speaks for itself when it comes to streaming live sporting events. When you add this agreement to the deal we made with Time Warner Sports to air our cards on tape delay, one week after the live event, I feel like it’s all coming together at the right time for Shamrock FC.”

2016 will also mark the first full year in which the Shamrock champions will be eligible for a multi-fight Bellator contract once they have successfully defended their title.

November will be the promotion’s busiest month s they will hold four events including one at The Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

All told, Shamrock FC will promote 18 mixed martial arts cards and four cards comprised of mixed martial arts, boxing and kickboxing. The bouts for the four mixed cards will be held inside of a ring.
