Niall McGrath was the first to report the news. For Hettes (11-3), this marks the fourth time he’s pulled out of a scheduled UFC bout since making his Octagon debut in 2011. Against Rosa “The Kid’ was looking to snap his career worst two fight losing streak. In his most recent contest, the 28-year-old suffered a first round TKO to Diego Brandao after the cageside referee determinedHettes was unfit to continue fighting after his cauliflower ear exploded from an elbow strike. Rosa (10-2) , an American Top Team product, is also looking to get back into the win column after dropping a split decision to Yair Rodriguez in their Fight of the Night at UFC 180. Prior to this setback, the Massachusetts native earned an impressive third round submission win over Sean Soriano at UFC Fight Night 59, which marked the UFC’s last visit to the Bay State. There is currently no word on who Rosa’s new opponent will be.
