A lightweight fight between rising prospect Johnny Case and Jake Matthews in UFC Fight Night 84 in Brisbane, Australia.

Case (22-4) will be looking to improve on his already impressive 12 fight win streak, which includes all four of his of UFC bouts. In his most recent performance, the man known as “Hollywood” walked away with a decision over Yan Cabral at UFC Fight Night 77 in November. This marked just the fourth fight in Case’s professional career to reach the judge’s scorecards. Prior to this win, the Power MMA product earned a  decision over Franciso Trevino and stoppagew over Frankie Perez and Kazuki Tokudome

Matthews (9-1), a native of Australia, is coming off a second round TKO over Akbarh Arreola at UFC 193 in November. This got “The Celtic Kid” back into the win column after dropping a first round submission loss to James Vick last May. This setback, snapped Matthews; eight fight win streak, which included back-to-back submissions over Vagner Rocha and Dashon Johnson.

UFC Fight Night 84 is currently scheduled to take place on March 20 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia. A heavyweight fight between Mark Hunt and Frank Mir will serve as the main event.
