Chas Skelly (Dave Mandel/Sherdog)UFC Featherweight Chas Skelly and Titan FC Bantamweight Jose Torres Latest Fighters to Partner With Loutrition José Youngs February 11, 2016 News, Spotlight, Titan FC, UFC After watching Loutrition founder Louis Giordano help former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks make weight safely and comfortably for his return to the Octagon this past Saturday, UFC featherweight Chas Skelly and Titan FC bantamweight Jose Torres have become the latest fighter to announce their partnership with weight management guru Lou Giordano. Skelly (15-1, 4-1 in the UFC), like former teammate of Hendricks, recently cut ties with Team Takedown. In doing so he realized he needed to hire someone with the experience and knowledge to help him prepare for his fight against Darren Elkins at UFC 196 on March 5. To date, Skelly has finished three of his four victories inside the Octagon. “I have talked to Lou off and on for a few months now and he actually assisted me on my post weigh in meals for my last fight against Kevin Souza in Brazil on November 7,” said Skelly. “Lou came off as someone who not only has the necessary tools to help me succeed, but as a person who cares about the athletes he works with. Knowing I can contact him at anytime with questions or concerns made this decision an easy one.” Torres has compiled a remarkable 25-1 record as an amateur which included 25 straight victories after suffering a loss in his first bout. Torres will make his professional debut at Titan FC 37 on March 4 against Jorge Dominguez. Torres is a 2-time UMMAF national Champion, 2-time IMMAF World Champion and is currently training with KHK MMA in Bahrain. “Lou and I clicked during our first conversation, we have similar philosophies when it comes to weight management,” Torres explained. “I truly like how he focuses on a lifestyle change rather than a diet. After the first week I noticed a significant change in the way I felt. Everything I eat is measured and allows my body to remain strong and healthy at all times. I am looking forward to becoming a complete fighter as I prepare for my professional debut.”
