The Grudge Training Center has been one of Colorado’s longest standing Combat Training Gyms and over the years they have provided Combat Sports fans with some of the best competitors in the business. Led by legendary striking coaches Trevor Wittman and Jake Ramos Grudge Training Center has produced champions in Kickboxing, Boxing and MMA at all stages of the sport.

Over the years other gyms have opened up and fighters and coaches have come and gone but the core of the GTC has never changed and they are rolling as strong as ever. This Saturday, March 12, 2016, at WSOF 29, the GTC has two of their fighters on the main card as Justin Gaethje defends his title against Brian Foster in the main event and Josh Copeland looks to work his way back to the UFC as he battels Michael Hayes in the co-main event.

Josh Copeland is one of Colorado’s favorite fighters and dominated the local scene before getting his shot in the RFA. It didn’t take Copeland long to dominate RFA either quickly winning the promotions heavyweight title before getting his call up to the UFC. Though his first time on the big stage was not all that he hoped it would be Copeland did learn from the experience and knows that he can compete with the best.

Coach Jake Ramos has been instrumental in the rise of both Gaethje and Copeland and is one of the game’s best striking coaches. In addition to Copeland and Gaethje Ramos has trained world champions in both boxing and MMA.

Copeland and Ramos recently sat down with Josh Davis of Press Box Insider and to discuss MMA, Copeland’s upcoming fight as well as everything else that goes on in the day to day training of a fighter.
