McGregor initially appeared on the TBS show Conan on March 3 to promote his UFC 196 fight against the younger Diaz brother. Now, less than a week after McGregor’s loss, Conan has released additional footage of his appearance on the show’s “Clueless Gamer” segment, where the two preview EA Sports’ UFC 2. McGregor plays as his own avatar, while O’Brien takes control of an unnervingly accurate version of himself created using the game’s “Fighter Creation tool”. As you’ll see, things didn’t end well for the late-night host. “Clueless Gamer” has been a semi-regular feature on the Team Coco website since 2012. Over time, it became so popular with the online community that it eventually made its way onto the televised weeknight broadcast. During each segment, O’Brien, the self-professed clueless gamer, plays major upcoming game titles, such as Fallout 4, GTA V, Far Cry: Primal, and Doom, while openly mocking the games, his guests, and his own ineptitude. EA Sports UFC 2 is set for release on March 15, 2016.
