Cage Warriors made a triumphant return after 17 months away Friday with Cage Warriors 75: Hermansson vs. Carlos.

The event took place inside the Camden Centre in London, England. It also marked the first time that the promotion has streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, which was announced just hours before the card went down.

It was the first card for the London-based MMA promotion since November 2014. They had run 85 cards over a 12-year stretch, hosting the likes of UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Ross Pearson, Dan Hardy, Joseph Duffy and countless others.

In the main event, Jack Hermansson earned his seventh straight win with a third round knockout of Alan Carlos to retain his middleweight title. Hermansson is unbeaten with Cage Warriors.

Carlos, a Brazilian submission expert, nearly stunned the champion when he worked for an arm-triangle choke before the bell sounded. Once the third began, Hermansson had played around enough, finishing the night with several right hands.

Paddy Pimblett improved his record to 10-1 with a decision in the co-main event over Ashleigh Grimshaw, while Scott Clist stopped Brad Wheeler just as the first round came to an end for the win.

Darren Stewart and Oliver Battell each earned quick finishes, scoring 37-second TKO over their respective opponents. Stewart bested James Hurrell, while Battell downed Rob Scott.

Chris Fishgold locked up the first submission of the night, latching a guillotine choke on Jordan Miller after 64 seconds of action. Alfie Davis scored himself a second round TKO vs. Terry Doyle thanks to a body kick.

Gyorgy Dolog earned himself a decision win over Pelu Adetola.

Cage Warriors 76 is scheduled for June 4 from Newport, Wales and the Newport Centre.
