Fox Sports confirmed the booking following an initial reports from MMAFighting.com. Latifi (12-4) is currently riding the most impressive win streak of his career. In his most recent contest “The Sledgehammer” earned decision over Gian Villante at UFC 196 in March. This win extended his win strak to three straight. The Swede previously walked away 28-second knockout over Sean O’Connell and 56-seconds knockout over Sean O’Connell. To date, four of Latifi’s UFC wins have ended in the first round, with three coming by way of (T)KO. Bader (20-5), winner of season eight of The Ultimate Fighter, will be looking to get back into the win column after duffering a first round TKO to Anthony Johnson at UFC on FOX 18 in December. This setback snapped his five fight win streak, which included decisions wins over former champion Rashad Evans and fellow collegiate wrestling standout Phil Davis. He will enter this bout with 10 career stoppage wins, including six by way of knockout. Bader vs. Latifi is the first bout announced for the September fight card.
