A heavyweight clash between former champion Fabricio Werdum and fan favorite Ben Rothwell has officially been added to UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland.

Werdum (20-6-1) most recently lost his heavyweight title after being floored in the first round to Stipe Miocic at UFC 198 earlier this month. This snapped the Brazilian’s six fight win streak.

‘Vai Cavalo” previoulsy earned his undisputed title after submitting then champion Cain Velasquez in their title unification bout at UFC 188 in Mexico City. Werdum also holds stoppage wins over former title contenders Mark Hunt and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as well as MMA icon Fedor Emelienenko.

Rothwell (36-10) will also be looking to get back into the win column after seeing his four fight win streak snapped at the hand of Junior dos Santos in April. The Wisconsin previously submitted former UFC heavyweight champion and submission specialist Josh Barnett and former collegiate football player Matt Mitrione. Rothwell also holds a knockout victory former K-1, Dream and Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem.

UFC 203 is currently scheduled to go down at Quicken Loans Arena in Downtown Cleveland. A heavyweight title fight between Miocic and Overeem will serve as the main event.
