A women’s flyweight fight between Rose Namajunas and Karolina Kowalkiewicz has officially been added to UFC 201 in July.

Brett Okamoto of ESPN was the first to report the news.

Namajunas (5-2) will be looking to pick up her fourth straight win inside the Octagon. In her most recent effort, “Thug” avenged her 2013 loss with a unanimous decision win over Tecia Torres at UFC on FOX 19 in April.

Prior to this win the former title contender earned back-to-back submission wins over the popular Paige VanZant and Angela Hill. To date, four of her five professional wins have come by way of submissoin.

Kowalkiewicz (9-0), the former KSW Women’s flyweight champion, has yet to taste defeat since making her professional MMA debut in 2013. She most recelty earned a decisoin over Heather Jo Clark at UFC Fight Night 87 in May. This marked her fourth straight decision win and second under the UFC banner.

UFC 201 is currently slated to go down on July 30 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. A welterweight title fight between reigning champion Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley will serve as the main event. A flyweight title fight between champ Demetrious Johnson vs. Wilson Reis is also expected to go down in the co-main event.
