Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is set to make his featherweight debut against Charles Oliveira at UFC Fight Night in Vancouver on Aug. 27.

Fox Sports was the first to report news on Wednesday afternoon.

Pettis (18-4), also a former WEC champion, will be looking to get back into win column after dropping his last three straight as a member of the 155-pound division.

In his most recent outing, fans witnessed Edson Barboza pick apart ‘Showtime’ with kicks en route to a dominant decision win at UFC 197 in April. This marked the third straight decision loss for Pettis. He previously suffered a split decision to former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez and a unanimous decision to reigning UFC champ Rafael dos Anjos.

His opponent, Oliveira (21-5), was last seen earning a first round submission win over Myles Jury at UFC on FOX 17 in December. Prior to this win, the Brazilian suffered a bizarre injury in his first round loss to Max Holloway in August. This setback snapped the Oliveira’s four fight win streak, which included three submission wins, four post fight bonuses and one Submission of the Year.

The entire event is scheduled to go down on Saturday night, Aug. 27, from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The main card is expected to air live on FOX.
