A light heavyweight fight between former title contender Alexander Gustafsson and Polish striker Jan Blachowicz has been added to UFC Fight Night 93 on Sept. 3 in Hamburg, Germany.

Gustafsson (16-4) will be looking to get back into the win column after suffering a loss in his back-and-forth war against reigning champion Daniel Cormier in their title fight at UFC 192 in October 2015. Prior to this setback, ‘The Mauler’  found himself on the receiving end of a violent first round knockout at the hands Evans’ teammate Anthony Johnson at UFC on FOX 14 in January.

To date, his last win came in the form of a second round TKO over Jimi Manuwa in March 2014.

Blachowicz (19-5), the former KSW light heavyweight champion, was last seen earning a decision over Igor Pokrajac in April. This snapped Blachowicz’s two fight losing skid after dropping back-to-back decision over Corey Anderson and Manuwa.

The entire event will go down at Barclaycard Arena. A heavyweight contest between former UFC champions Andrei Arlovski vs. Josh Barnett will serve as the headlining act.
