Wrestling/Grappling 7/10

Nunes is an adequate grappler with good balance, but she still has plenty of room to improve. Against technical grapplers she can be exposed. She does have a good base skill set and her power can be an incredible weapon but her technique can be lax.

Submissions 7/10

Nunes has a black belt in BJJ and she demonstrates solid technique but she doesn’t fully utilize her skill set on the ground. Nunes likes to punish her opponents on the ground rather than hunt for submissions. She will take a submission if it is there but that is not where her focus is.

A pretty talented natural athlete, Nunes gets her highest marks in the power department. Her physical strength and dynamic power gives her a major advantage over most of the fighters in her division. Her can match her physical gifts and she knows how to utilize them fully.

Fight IQ 7/10

Nunes prepares well and is supported by a great camp but she allows herself to take too much damage in the Octagon. Nunes likes to brawl and while that is great for the fans it puts her in bad situations constantly.

Overall 37/50
