Joanne Calderwood To Face Jessica Andrade At UFC 203 Jay Anderson July 20, 2016 News, Spotlight, UFC A possible title eliminator has been added to the UFC 203 card in Cleveland this September as Joanne Calderwood will take on Jessica Andrade at the event. The UFC confirmed the news Wednesday, though the promotion did not specify a weight class for the fight. However, The Daily Mirror’s Jim Edwards reported later that the bout would take place at 115lbs. Calderwood (11-1) is coming off a big win in the first ever UFC women’s flyweight fight at UFC Fight Night 89 in Ottawa, Ontario in June. In that fight, she was able to display a much more evolved set of skills, adding in vicious kicks to her arsenal en route to dispatching former title challenger Valerie Letourneau. Andrade (14-5), meanwhile, recently dropped down to strawweight from bantamweight, and absolutely crushed Jessica Penne at UFC 199 in a statement victory to announce her presence in the weight class. That fight instantly put her in the title mix. UFC 203 takes place September 10 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena and features a headliner of heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic defending his title against Alistair Overeem. In addition to the strawweight bout, UFC 203 includes: Stipe Miocic (c) vs. Alistair Overeem Fabricio Werdum vs. Ben Rothwell Nik Lentz vs. Mairbek Taisumov Damir Hadzovic vs. Yusuke Kazuya CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall Jessica Eye vs. Bethe Correia Urijah Faber vs. Jimmie Rivera
