Barry meets Struve at UFC on Versus 6

Pat Barry and Stefan Struve are set for a heavyweight battle at UFC on Versus 6 from Washington D.C. on Oct. 1.  Both fighters are coming off of vicious Knockout of the Night losses.

The two kickboxers represent the extremes of the heavyweight division, as Barry checks in at just 5’11”, while Struve towers at 6’11”.

The UFC on Versus 6 card is headlined by Dominick Cruz vs Demetrious Johnson for the bantamweight title.


Hougland faces newcomer Easton at Versus event

Following a two year absence from the sport, bantamweight Mike Easton will carry a five-fight win streak in his promotional debut Jeff Hougland.  The pair are slated to collide at the Oct. 1 UFC on Versus 6 card in Washington D.C.


Curran back in the UFC, and now faces Jorgensen at UFC 137

Jeff Curran has signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC and he already has an opponent in former WEC title challenger Scott Jorgensen.  The two bantamweights are booked to fight on the UFC 137 card from Las Vegas on Oct. 29.  The event is headlined by a welterweight title fight between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz.

Curran previously appeared in the promotion at UFC 46, dropping a unanimous decision to Matt Serra.  The grappling standout is riding a two-fight win streak, both coming under the XFC banner.
