Pride veteran Jorge Patino (25-13-1) claimed the vacant Legacy FC welterweight championship with a split decision over fellow UFC and Strikeforce vet Pete Spratt (23-21)…Bellator veteran Andrew Craig (6-0) kept his spotless record intact, earning 30-26 scores from all three judges en route to a unanimous decision victory over WEC and Bellator vet Eric Schambari (15-4).

Amazon Forest Combat 1 (Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil)

Torres (white trunks) vs. Fickett

In a fight that made Sherdog’s list of 10 September Tussles Worth Watching, Sengoku veteran and BJJ world champion Antonio Braga Neto (7-1) submitted UFC vet Maiquel Falcao (27-4) via a second-round kimura…No. 10-ranked bantamweight Masakatsu Ueda (14-1-2) shifted to lightweight and earned a split decision over Pride veteran Royler Gracie (5-5-1)…In what appeared to be a clear-cut decision win for Dream veteran and Olympic gold medalist judoka Satoshi Ishii (4-1-1), the judges instead ruled his fight with WEC and Pride vet Paulo Filho (22-4-2) as a draw…UFC veteran Ronys Torres (22-4) needed just 47 seconds to strike UFC and Dream vet Drew Fickett (41-16) into submission…Jordan Smith (16-2-1) earned a split decision over UFC veteran Karo Parisyan (19-8)…Pride veteran Daniel Acacio (25-12) knocked out Sergio Junior (22-10-3) in the first round…Flyweight fighter Dileno Lopes (7-0) remained undefeated with a first-round guillotine choke submission of Adson Jander (0-2)…George Clay (16-2) secured a rear-naked choke in the first round to submit Bellator veteran Anthony Birchak (6-1).

King of the Cage: First Defense (San Bernardino, Calif.)

Jared Papazian (14-6) successfully defended his KOTC flyweight (135-pound) belt while handing opponent Marvin Garcia (6-1) the first loss of his career. Papazian took the victory via unanimous decision.

Sept. 16
Aggression MMA 8: Ford vs. Hulett (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)

David Hulett (18-9) caught recent Bellator addition and MFC veteran Ryan Ford (16-4) in a guillotine choke in the first round for the submission win in a fight that made Sherdog’s 10 September Tussles Worth Watching…UFC veteran Tim Hague (13-5) also utilized a first-round guillotine choke to submit Bellator and IFL veteran Vince Lucero (20-22-1)…UFC veteran Alvin Robinson (12-6) needed just 54 seconds to secure a rear-naked choke and submit Adam Lorenz (5-2)…Nick Penner (11-1) took a unanimous nod over Tim Chemelli (8-1).

Win, Fight & Entertainment 10: Platinum (Salvador, Bahia, Brazil)

In a fight that made Sherdog’s 10 September Tussles Worth Watching, Edinaldo Oliveira (12-0-1) kept his unblemished record intact with a first-round TKO of Jair Goncalves (9-4)…Dream veteran Adriano Martins (20-6) earned a unanimous decision over Diego Braga (17-8-1)…Recent Bellator addition and WFE middleweight champion Bruno Santos (12-0) took home a unanimous decision over Paulo Henrique (1-2)…UFC veteran Edilberto de Oliveira (18-7-2) knocked out Ricardo “Hulk” de Oliveira (8-3) in the second round…Shine Fights veteran Flavio Alvaro (33-9) eked out a split decision over Bruno Machado (5-6)…Jurandir Sardinha (12-5) took a unanimous verdict over Anistavio Medeiros (12-7)…Vinicius Vina (19-3-1) scored a second-round TKO of Francisco Cylderlan Lima da Silva (17-5).

Cage Rage UK: Ultimate Challenge 23 (London)

Facey (red trunks) vs. Pointon

John Maguire (16-3) successfully defended his welterweight championship with a unanimous decision over Peter Irving (14-8-1)…Jamaine Facey (7-6) knocked out UFC veteran Ross Pointon (6-12) in the first round.

King of the Cage: Apocalypse (Thackerville, Okla.)

Bellator and WEC veteran Thomas Schulte (20-8) scored a first-round TKO of Marcio Navarro (7-7)…Frank Baca (11-1) earned a unanimous decision over Francisco Barragan (7-6).

Respect Fighting Championship 6 (Wuppertal, Germany)

Boekee (black trunks) vs. Jedidi

Marcin Naruszczka (8-0) remained undefeated with a fourth-round rear-naked choke submission of Manuel Masuch (4-3)…Ben Boekee (13-1) successfully defended his Dutch WFCA featherweight title with a second-round doctor’s stoppage TKO of Marcel Jedidi (3-2).
