Mark Munoz meets Chris Weidman at UFC on Fuel TV 4

A battle of middleweight wrestlers will headline the July 11 UFC on Fuel TV 4 card as former NCAA national champion Mark Munoz will take on the undefeated Chris Weidman.

No location or venue has been revealed for the event.

The fight marks the second bout expected for the card, as it is also expected to host a light heavyweight bout between James Te Huna and Brandon Vera.

Heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira set for UFC 149

Brazilian Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will return from a broken arm sustained at UFC 140 to take on Frenchman Cheick Kongo at UFC 149 on July 21 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Kongo is also coming off a recent loss, as Mark Hunt finished him in the first round at UFC 144 in February.

UFC 149 will take place at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Originally expected to feature a featherweight title bout, the event may now host a light heavyweight championship bout between Jon Jones and Dan Henderson.

Legacy Fighting Championship 11 adds Varner vs. King

Former WEC champion Jamie Varner has replaced Alex Morono and will take on Lee King in a 160-pound catchweight bout at Legacy Fighting Championships 11 on May 11.

The fight will be one of seven bouts that will be televised on the HDNet broadcast.

The event takes place from the Arena Theater in Houston.

UFC vet Junior Assuncao inks deal with Legacy Fighting Championship

Brazilian featherweight Junior Assuncao has signed a multi-fight deal with the Texas-based Legacy Fighting Championships.

The UFC veteran will make his promotional debut at Legacy Fighting Championship 12 on July 13, although his opponent is yet to be determined.

The event is also expected to feature Jay Hieron, Robert Drysdale and Isaac Villanueva. It will take place from Houston’s Arena Theater and air live on HDNet.
