MMA Junkie UFC 149 draws 235K PPV buys UFC 149’s pay-per view buys took a large dip from UFC 148’s. After UFC 148’s PPV buys were estimated to be around 1 million, UFC 149 reportedly drew an estimated 235,000. The card was however completely remade from top to bottom after numerous injuries forced fighters off the card. UFC 149 was headlined by a interim bantamweight championship fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao. Bloody Elbow UFC 149 prelims scores 1 million viewers on FX The UFC’s prelims on FX continue to churn out steady numbers. It’s most recent broadcast drew 1 million viewers on average. Though the UFC averaged 1 million viewers again, the numbers were a large drop off from UFC 148’s 1.8 million viewers.
