Georges St- Pierre Medically Cleared For MMA Activities UFC Welterweight champion Georges St- Pierre has been medically cleared to compete in MMA. GSP has been on the sidelines for well over a year after suffering an ACL tear. With St-Pierre’s rehab behind him, it appears as if UFC 154 will officially have GSP vs. Carlos Condit as its main event. UFC 154 is scheduled to take place on Nov. 17 in Montreal’s Bell Center. Source: Twitter UFC 152 Lineup Set; Evan Dunham vs. T.J. Grant Moved to Prelims After the cancellation of UFC 151 and some shuffling of fights, the lineup to UFC 152 is finally set. With the addition of Jon Jones vs. Vitor Belfort, the lightweight contest between Evan Dunham and TJ Grant has been moved to the prelims that will air on FX. Brian Rogers and Zoila Gurgel are also expected to compete on the card. Rogers will look to erase a terrible showing the last time he fought in Ohio while Gurgel will likely have a huge following after moving to the state. Bellator 78 is scheduled to take place on Oct. 26 in Dayton, Ohio. Source: The MMA Corner Antonio Banuelos Signs with Legacy Fighting Championship Former WEC and UFC fighter Antonio Banuelos has signed a contract to compete in Legacy Fighting Championship. Banuelos hasn’t competed since losing to DREAM champion Bibiano Fernandes back in Dec. of 2011. His lone UFC appearance came against Miguel Torres at UFC 126 that resulted in a decision loss for Banuelos. Banuelos is expected to face Josh Sampo in the co-main event of LFC 14 in Sept.
