Dos Santos and Velasquez met at the inaugural UFC on Fox card where dos Santos beat Velasquez by first round TKO. Also on the card is a light heavyweight fight between Forrest Griffin and Phil Davis and also what could be a top contender bout in the middleweight division between Chris Weidman and Tim Boestch. UFC 155 takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Dec. 29. Tickets range from $75 to $800 not including fees. Source: MMA Junkie Kyle Noke pulls out of UFC on FX 6 due to injury Kyle Noke has pulled out of his UFC on FX 6 fight against Seth Baczynski due to injury. UFC on FX 6 goes down under to the Gold Coast in Australia, Noke’s native country. After a two-fight losing streak, Noke dropped to welterweight and won against Charlie Brenneman with a quick TKO. UFC on FX airs in the United States on Dec. 14 and is headlined by a coaches showdown from “TUF: Australia vs. U.K.” containing lightweights George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson. Source: Sherdog Stephen Thompson injured, out of UFC 154 fight against Besam Yousef Another injury kills a fight for the UFC with Stephen Thompson becoming the injury bug victim this time. Thompson has been pulled from his fight with Besam Yousef due to injury. “Wonderboy” was expected to fight at the UFC 154 card in Montreal. Thompson had an impressive entrance to the UFC this past February, but a loss to Matt Brown showed holes in his game that seemed to need tremendous improvement. UFC 154 is headlined by a title unification bout between current champion, Georges St-Pierre and interim champion, Carlos Condit.
